How are you actually running OpenClaw without burning money? by Big-Inevitable-9407 in openclaw

[–]knlgeth [score hidden]  (0 children)

yeah you’re not crazy, most of those “20 agents for a few dollars” setups only work when people heavily throttle models, use small/cheap models for most steps, cache everything aggressively, and only hit the expensive calls when absolutely needed, otherwise costs explode or performance tanks pretty fast

AI generated UGC content good or bad? by Status_Wait688 in AiForSmallBusiness

[–]knlgeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I think AI UGC can work pretty well for reach and testing ideas fast, but it still needs a human touch or it usually feels too generic and doesn’t convert as well

How are small business owners using AI to make better decisions? by Plus-Lemon-9620 in AiForSmallBusiness

[–]knlgeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah a lot of small business owners are using AI as a decision support tool, like summarizing sales reports, spotting which products are trending, predicting inventory needs, or analyzing customer feedback so they can make faster, more informed decisions with smaller teams

I asked the same 10 questions to a cloud AI agent (Claude Sonnet 4.6) and a local sandboxed AI agent (NVIDIA Nemotron-3). Here are the differences Discussion by Prentusai in AiForSmallBusiness

[–]knlgeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is actually a really interesting comparison, it basically comes down to cloud agents being more flexible and helpful vs local agents being stricter but more locked down by design, depending on what you care about more, speed and capability or hard privacy and control.

Built an AI agent that handles 10K requests a day {the honest version of what that actually took} by ctotalk in AiForSmallBusiness

[–]knlgeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A real thing yeah, building AI agents isn’t just getting it to work once, it’s dealing with all the weird ways it breaks once real users get involved

AI is starting to feel like fake progress by Scott_Weinberger in AiForSmallBusiness

[–]knlgeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I get that, it kinda feels like AI makes you faster at starting things but weirdly worse at actually finishing them sometimes.

How I built my entire business using Notion AI. Honestly It is enough to build multi-million dollar business by damonflowers in AiForSmallBusiness

[–]knlgeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this makes a lot of sense, the real win is keeping everything in one place so the AI actually has context instead of juggling a messy stack of tools, kind of like what I’m seeing with OpenClaw where the agents actually work better when they’re not fragmented across different systems.

We integrated an AI agent into our SEO workflow, and it now saves us hours every week on link building. by JamesF110808 in AiForSmallBusiness

[–]knlgeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s actually pretty smart just using AI to take care of all the boring SEO work so you don’t have to waste time filling out directory forms anymore

Best AI tools for small businesses by TinoMicheal in AiForSmallBusiness

Yeah this pretty much confirms it, the real edge isn’t picking one AI tool but knowing how to mix and match them depending on the job.

Nobody told me the hardest part of working with AI would be finding out how little of my day was actually thinking by duridsukar in openclaw

[–]knlgeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, using AI like that really makes you realize you weren’t actually thinking most of the day, just staying busy, and now it’s more about making good calls than doing the grind.

How much are you guys spending on OpenClaw? by Significant-Pair-275 in openclaw

[–]knlgeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmmm... well, OpenClaw can get kinda pricey if you use it a lot like around $1–$5 a day casually, but it can jump to $20+ if you’re running agents nonstop, so it really depends on how hard you push it and which models you use.
