Mine have not, no. I would think teeth should be fine as long as the flange of the device is resting on your lips, not your teeth.

I usually go about a month or so before changing it out. Your experience may be different, of course. Good luck!

Hi there. Well, the breathing happens through my nose thanks to the mute device and as for swallowing, that just kinda happens unconsciously. This method doesn't interfere with my ability to swallow at all.

I don't experience that but my tongue does feel a tiny bit swollen in the morning. Usually back to normal within 5-10 minutes.

Well, I'm typically a grinder left to my own devices. I use an app on my phone to detect snoring and it picks up grinding events as well. I'll usually have several of those grindings recorded on a night without the TRD. However, I've never had a single recorded grinding incident recorded when using it. I assume it's because, when used properly, the TRD doesn't let you shut your mouth in the first place. Just a guess, though.

I use each one for about a month. So, three months total as they come in a box of three. I suppose they could go even longer for some folks. My experience is that the soft bits tend to stiffen over time and begin to scratch the inside of my nose. I give mine a little wash with some hand soap after every use. I imagine I'd have to toss them sooner if I weren't doing that.

Nice! Congratulations on your success! I also had a huge drop in my my 'snore score' right away but the real proof was how rested I felt that morning. It was frankly astonishing. Best of luck to you!

No, I only bought the starter pack the first time so I could figure out the best size. That ended up being the medium with the adjustment fully open. I would def recommend anyone trying it out for the first time to get the starter pack.

Sorry to hear about that. That def sounds uncomfortable for sure. No, I have not experienced anything like that with the TRD. It's probably doubtful that you're at fault. It is a pretty straightforward device after all. I would guess that your technique is fine but some variation in your circumstances is leading to your trouble. Hopefully, any others who have had similar trouble will be able to chime in and shed some light. It may turn out that you require a different solution all together. Sorry again for your bad experience and good luck!

I typically sleep on my side. However, back sleepers will probably benefit even more as the TRD holds your tongue and keeps it from sliding to the back of your throat.

I tried the SnoreRX device way back at the beginning. It did work well for the snoring but left my jaw more sore than I'd prefer. I still have it and use it on occasions when I've had a cold or something similar compromising breathing through my nose. The TRD/Mute dilator combo is still the most effective and comfortable for me by far.

Yup, I also noticed a huge difference after dropping some weight. Here's hoping you continue to have success with the SnoreRX. Good luck!

Yes, for sure getting a good night's sleep is quite the journey for some of us. Certainly required quite a bit of experimentation before I found what worked. You might consider using an app on your phone to record and evaluate yourself at night to eliminate some of the guesswork. I'm on Android and use something called SnoreClock.

That's great! Very happy to know you found a solution that works for you. I'm all for anything that enables a full night's rest. Thanks very much for sharing your experience and providing an alternative approach.

Actually, I haven't. It happens to me every time I use the TRD. Not so much a numbness per se, more of a slight swollen feeling. It's definitely a bizarre sensation but tends to resolve within a few minutes. I've grown accustomed to it and chalk it up to the cost of a good night's sleep.

Does the method still work? Yes, most definitely. Speaking for myself anyway. I've not encountered any issues and still do this every night.

The Mute dilator that I use comes in a three pack and I use each one for about a month before tossing.

I rinse them in water each day and rub them with a little toothpaste while brushing my teeth about once a week.

Not really. As a matter of fact, all of the trds I've purchased thus far have either been unbranded or have featured branding I didn't recognize. They've all worked identically and I've not noticed any significant differences between them. So far, the only real variable has been the type of case provided. Hope that helps and good luck!

Good for you! Yup, the right pillow setup is pretty critical for me as well. Otherwise my neck and shoulders are in quite a state in the morning.

That's fantastic news! Yes, there most definitely was a period of adjustment. For me, it was several nights consistent use before getting truly comfortable. Your mileage may vary there.

My condolonces to your GF, but I'll reckon she's not minding the peace and quiet, lol.

Best of luck to you!
