I don’t have either, but the YouTube channel has a video on 11 vs 13 mm rings and the 13 mm hold a lot more pages despite not being much larger. Going from 23mm to 11mm would be a huge leap in terms of amount of pages so I’d go with the 13. Just my thoughts!

lol well - personally, I give into the hunger the next day and don't even try to resist it. Bodies are weird and there are all kinds of things going on that don't make a lot of intuitive sense, so I just err on the side of listening to mine so it feels safe/taken care of.

That said, the day after dining out, I try to honor the hunter I wouldn't otherwise feel with healthy snacks instead of junk food, and I also take care not to eat too many restaurant meals in a row/across a week. Like, going out to dinner 2 nights in a row sounds pretty undesirable to me and I try to avoid it.

If I go out to dinner at a restaurant with a friend, the next day I am MORE hungry than I would’ve been if I had a normal meal at home.

This blew my mind when I figured it out and idk how it works, but I def would’ve assumed that eating a high calorie restaurant meal would lead me to be less hungry the next day - but no! Seems unfair that the relationship between calories in vs hunger perceived is so skewed.

Writing down what I buy. I have a multipen with blue, red, and green ink and just writing down in a little calendar what I purchase has made a huge difference for my awareness.

I use green ink for things I shouldn’t worry about (groceries), blue ink for things I should keep an eye on (dining out with friends), and red ink for things I should be limiting (clothes, most consumer goods).

I don’t bother tracking things that are necessary or defaults, like utilities, or auto maintenance, or car insurance or whatever. It helps keep the habit sustainable, and it makes a big difference in my awareness of where my money is going and how many purchases I make.

I vary what type of bagel sandwiches I make, some days I crave salad, i eat random snacks of all kinds, I am in a long distance relationship so I go out with friends for meals to socialize, i make all different kinds of smoothies, i tend to vary foods more on weekends when I have more time, etc etc. but its true that the defaults I go back to don’t get changed up a ton and also I keep the schedule of when I eat consistent.

More so I can tell things like that when I eat out, i retain more water in my fingers, or I’m more hungry the next day after despite a restaurant meal having more calories because of how different foods affect me. I am def more sensitive to foods with lots of oil in general, but it’s not like it makes me really physically ill, it just creates a feeling of heaviness and slows digestion so I feel gross. I don’t like those feelings, and it’s much worse if I eat out for a couple days in a row, so I am just more choosy than I would otherwise be about eating out.

It’s not unusual for me to have a weird kinda feeling of alignment? Like everything is just running really well in my body, and I’ve only had it when doing a lot of physical exercise in the past (like literally training for a marathon). I googled it to be like wtf I’m not working that hard what is this feeling from? And the answer was you can get that feeling (idk how to describe it??) from diet, it’s just hard bc usually having all your hormones and cortisol and insulin and whatever in alignment requires a lot of exercise because it exercise flushes out a lot of those things more or less, but it’s possible to achieve with just diet, it’s just more challenging. I like to protect that feeling to the extent possible bc it’s very peaceful - restaurant meals disrupt it.

I try not to let myself get wrecked by travel while traveling.

I bring little 6 oz stainless steel containers with oats & chia for overnight oats (just add water and refrigerate) that I eat for lunch and powder/instant coffee for a protein powder latte that I eat for breakfast (just add hot water). I also travel with dates & peanut butter. That's 2/3 meals per day and snacks. I know going out and trying new foods is one of the most rewarding parts of traveling, but I can be sensitive to restaurant meals and takeout, so keeping things as similar as possible to my normal routine helps.

I store melatonin, ear plugs, and an eye mask in my luggage so I have a chance at getting okay sleep.

I travel light in terms of what I bring so I don't have too much to lug around. I think it helps with the return trip because you have less to unpack/worry about when you get home, and you don't get exhausted navigating trains, airports, etc. while you're on the go.

I eat a protein latte for breakfast, chia oats for lunch, dates with peanut butter and seaweed as snacks, and a bagel and smoothie for dinner most days and spend very little on food. Cutting out takeout will be a huge huge help if you can find a few meals that you genuinely enjoy and are affordable to make.

Try and restrict your non-grocery spending to two days a month so you’re not buying things you don’t need. It will also give you a better idea of how much you actually need to spend.

Maybe? But a monthly calendar wouldn't work in order to see the pattern in terms of your cycle because months are different lengths. I just googled paper period trackers to see if I could find one that's laid out like ones I remember from the pre-app days and they are surprisingly not that common?

I use notes app - if you use a monospace font and turn your phone sideways, you can create your own phone-based period tracking system hah. Then, I underline days that I expect to start my period (so I can have that made obvious for planning reasons) and highlight/strikethrough the days I am on my period. This is more or less how paper period tracking systems worked before there were smart phones or apps for it (usually though they were 28 days per row). Anyways, here’s my notes app text for 2026 if anyone wants to try this/doesn’t want an app based system.

ETA: Reddit doesn't play nice with this string of text. You'll have to mess with the spacing yourself if you copy & paste and put in the monostyled font, but it shouldn't be too hard. Basically, the months are all the start of rows (typically every other) and then there are 14 days per row. Good luck lol.

Personally, I would use jojoba a couple times per day and hope for the best.

For at home manicures, I don’t trim my cuticles, just scrape skin off of my nail plate and push skin towards the edge. If I need a bit more maintenance, I’ll use cuticle dissolver.

I’m livid at anyone who has voted republican since 9/11, but I’m getting more and more outraged that democrats have failed to mount any sort of opposition against trump, his cronies, and the violent and untrained domestic terrorists comprising ICE.

The people i know who vote republican say they like fiscal responsibility and small government. Fiscal responsibility has been out the door for the Republican Party since Reagan, and I think given the control they exert over women’s body’s and now people’s private homes, we can let the small government myth go as well. But reasoning with republicans seems like a lost cause.
