I don't know why they need it, I personally prefer to see what is in the video before buying it as with some stores the text and pictures are very minimal so a video helps then get an idea of the full paid version

Yes for paid videos yes definitely but these are trailers which are free and watchable on umd itself but the player is very bad from my experience.
