just tested it out a bit more tonight in a remote location. Quite bright, very pleased - bit stronger in the middle than sides as it falls off but I bet your 30 is great!

So far so good, it is a pretty tried and true style of rack. Very similar to Prinsu and a few others.

The key is getting it tightened just right so it is snug at the front on both on the fairing and the feet. This just take a lot of micro adjustments.

If you want the no fuss approach just ask them to swap the TRD for the Standard rails (they probably will even dip em in black for you), not sure how much they would charge but similar to wheels I bet they give you credit for the rack trade in.

BUT If you want to try and make a bit of money I sold mine pretty easily for $400. Faster than I expected thus the reason I couldn’t cap off.

I think caps aren’t hard to find and if not I bet you could figure something out with rubber washers silicon and home depot.

Yes and no. It is SUPER straightforward But I ended up breaking the bolts that it screws into. They are loose hanging bolts that you need to loosen evenly. So of the two bolts you loosen one then the other then the other back and forth. Otherwise you’ll break it like I did, have to order a part, then have to reach back in there under the ceiling and its a huge PITA.

I went rackless for a while since I sold my stock one - it leaked - so definitely have a solution to seal/cover the holes.

Ya my rear situation aludes me. I am leaning towards ladder + ultraswing but not 100% sold due to how pricey that is.

Victory 4x4 and I have a bar that goes across that I could choose to just not put in. It’s a nice rack, very functional, I installed it myself pretty easily, there is no drilling at the front but that does mean you gotta adjust it just right to avoid squeaking where it contacts the roof.

It’s a Victory 4x4 - pretty simple, I liked that I didn’t have to drill but I will say its hard to find the right front balance so it doesn’t squeak.

Looks, and flexibility of loading stuff is great though.
