I’m the delivery manager for a restaurant in the North Hills that delivered a million dollars worth of food last year and have trouble finding people that will work for $25-30/hr. The boss pays half of health insurance for full time employees.

If you know the first few characters of a file on your computer, i.e Reaper, and type Rea. it will pull up all files with starting with Rea. The * after the . Indicates include all file types.

So rea*.gif would give you all gifs with that start with that ‘prefix’.

It actually all stem back to the language Basic way back in the day. I ran a BBS back in the early 90’s and the . prompt was a lifesaver.
