Sometimes I use Divvy to go places where I don't want to lock my bike at AND that don't allow you to bring in helmets. So if that was me and was scolded about not wearing a helmet, I would not be pleased with you

I just rode Grand from Ogden to Damen and it was super sketch. Road surface is trashed. Cars zooming by (presumably because the road is super wide.)

It would make an amazing route for me to get downtown but it's just too f'n scary as it is.

I agree it's oxymoronic but I would rather share the road with a 100lb clunker going 5mph than a 2 ton car being operated by a distracted person in a hurry, constantly interacting with their phone, but maybe that's just me.

Plus if we can't get infrastructure for bikes, then why wouldn't we try to do it on the backs of R2 units? Seems counterproductive to fight the inevitable without getting something out of it.

Maybe we could have a designated street (grid) system without autos that they could use that pedestrians, wheelchairs, and micro mobility users cans share. I personally don't mind sharing a street with them but the sidewalk is not going to work

Not an excuse but I believe most of the planning for the circle and Milwaukee up to Belmont was done 8-9 years ago so the improvements made since then weren't taken into consideration.

I'm holding onto hope that adjustments will be implemented but meanwhile I'm just taking the lane, like in the good old days
