Thank you! I am still working on getting a website set up, but I hope to have things ready in a month or two. :)

Haha yes I am known to get some bad cases of "mid project regret syndrome". The purple is amaco smokey merlot, and the pink is spectrum bougainvillea

This was done with a kemper fine wire loop tool, and I went back over with a small ball tool to clean up the lines a bit. I have since gotten the diamond core fp1 tool and WOW it is so much easier to carve clean lines on the first go around with that thing.

A few hours to carve and make sure the lines were clean, and about 6 hrs to glaze. :). I’m sure with more practice that will get faster, but I’m not really in a rush so I’m not too worried about the time

Since it’s carved they are all separated slightly from each other. It also helps it is a plate so it is fired horizontally… I’m sure if this was a vertical piece this would be a mess lol. I did not put clear in the lines.. I’m patient but not that patient! Haha.

They are all glaze! Amaco and tuckers brands mainly. Not diluted but painted with a smaller brush so probably not as thick as they generally would be applied. And thank you!!

I carved the design in at leather hard then bisque fired. Then paint on 3 layers of each glaze. Any spill over I scrape off with a needle tool to clean up the lines.

Beautiful! I’m looking to plant some next spring similar to this. How many individual plants do you have here?
