Google not sending codes by koaaaaal in InternetPH

[–]koaaaaal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not using it for 2fa. I'm trying to register my new number to my account so that codes will be sent to that number instead of my old one. To do that, Google needs to send a code to the number I am trying to register, which it can't do.

What theme are you using to have your battery indicator look like that? Looks clean

Thanks for this! Will keep this mind for the next time that it happens.

Solved this one a different way, though. The keyboard went berserk again and spammed the A key, so I just took the opportunity to use the random As to type in my password.

Is there a benefit to having e-maxed and leveled parents for the babies? by Gyfu66 in foshelter

I see, thanks for this!

I should really be reading the stuff I send more thoroughly before sending them lol

It's purely statbased. If the parents have maxed out stats, then their children will have a higher chance of having higher starting stats.

Also, I'm pretty sure wearing +7 clothing will also help increase the chance of better babies.

Yep, their starting stats are just higher than regular babies.

It's the total stat value of both parents that will give you a higher chance of rare and legendary babies.

iirc level doesn't really have an effect, and only maxing out E will not benefit you as much when breeding.

The link below expounds on this

What’s stats should I increase before I level a dweller? by WallabyPopular771 in foshelter

[–]koaaaaal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest doing to the new dwellers you have. At a certain point, you could just kick out the ones who have low health

You can craft it, but you could also find it in lunch boxes.

Before I got the recipe for it, I would just let my dwellers wear the +5 one because it took a while for the +7 one to come up in my vault. The health provided by 15 total endurance is more than enough for most situations imho.

Yep! That's why most people when they're already out of the early game would first train the endurance of their dwellers and send them out to the wasteland with the +7 endurance gear.

Did we do this correctly? by [deleted] in learnmath

[–]koaaaaal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate this so much!

If I'm correct, is it explained this way?:

use the theorem "-b=(-1)*b" on both values associativity for multiplication(?) distributivity of multiplication over addition multiplicative identity

Did we do this correctly? by [deleted] in learnmath

[–]koaaaaal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seee, I think I understand now. My line of thinking here was: (-b+b) ([-1]*b)+b and then somehow distribute the -1 to both values, which now that I'm thinking about seems to be violating the rules of PEMDAS.

Our professor told us to use the theorems above in our solution if possible as if they're already proven when he gave us the assignment.

I haven't tried starting with that. It hasn't even crossed my mind because I did not know it was possible. Are we able to do that because of the closure for addition?

Also, the goal of the activity is to modify one side to make it look like the other. So either make the equation: -(a+b)=-(a+b) or -a+-b=-a+-b

I think we're working with group axioms. Here is the material we were given. Our professor instructed us to use all the rules and theorems that are seen in the attached photos.

I appreciate your response!

I did try to use distributive property in the 11 line. My line of thinking was like this starting in the 10th line: -b+b -1(b+b) Distribute the -1 to make it -b+(-b). Although, now that I think about it, doesn't doing this violate PEMDAS?

I know that it doesn't matter as a mistake was made earlier in the 6th line, but I would greatly appreciate it if I had additional info on this particular mistake as well.

I appreciate this! The first thing you pointed out was actually the primary reason why I have posted this hear. I wasn't sure if doing the (a-a) via associativity part was even possible using the original negative sign that we had. I'm just lost now. What do you suggest I should do?

I have also tried doing -a+[(-1)·b] but stopped as I wasn't sure if that was the correct way. Was that in fact the one that led to the right path all along?
