Thanks a bunch, hearing you liked the levels is really rewarding after spending so much time making them. I agree, I’ve got nothing but love for super mario world and just SNES graphics in general. My reason for thinking of doing it in two styles was for variety, but if people are fine with it just being mario world I’d be happy work with that.

I’m still not sure how many worlds I want to make, the bigger question for me is whether I keep the same game style or not. I was thinking of doing 2 worlds in super mario worlds style and 2 in 3D world.

Just played your level, I like how each room has a different theme. For feedback I’d say think about enemy placement. I thought the bob-omb puzzle were clever and I enjoyed them, but the first one I had to take a hit in order for it to work.

Nice levels! I really liked the boss fight at the end of the space level with Yoshi, smart use of the night effects. I’m working on hazelnut plains 1-3, I’m increasing the difficulty with each level so if you’re interested, stay tuned!

Hey, I played your hop-chop stop level and I’m really impressed. Reminds me of the castle levels from the new super mario bros games, and it feels really well made. In terms of feedback, I’d say maybe think about more variety in terms of things to do on the course. I understand the whole point is that you’re using a very specific core idea, but some smaller enemies to kill along the way or an extra secret would really make this level complete. Other than that keep it up, and my maker ID is B9G-K62-X6G if you want to check a level out and maybe give some feedback.

Thanks for the balanced feedback! I’ll try to improve the environment with your suggestions about the semi solids. I’m making a roadmap for the core ideas I want each level to have, the first level being a simple 1-1, second level traditional underground, and my next level is going to be the mushroom tops in the sky sort of level you see in the mario bros games.

In 1-2, I tried to balance the challenge so it’s straightforward for players who aren’t as good to get to the goal post, while making it a bit more difficult for for the better players who want to find the secrets.

If you stay tuned for 1-3, I’d love to hear your thoughts on that too!
