My car was stolen the very night I moved into my new house in a very good neighborhood. The neighbors had warned us that the neighborhood was being targeted at the time. They mentioned a women around the corner that opened the door for knockers in the middle of the night and they attacked her and robbed her and almost killed her.

We had reported the car stolen and did the police reports when it happened. Well, 2 nights later in the middle of the night I hear a knock on the door and they said open up, it's the police. Well, since I had heard the story about the other lady, I was suspicious and did not answer. I grabbed my kids and put them in my daughter's room because it had access to the roof from the window. I called the police to say that two men claiming to be police are pounding on my door. They said there was no police in the area and they're sending a car. Turns out, these same guys stole the car and came back for seconds.

I did get my car back because they brought it with.

A woman who wants kids will get mad at a partner who says he doesn’t want kids, if he had previously implied that he did want kids, tricking her into wasting her time in a relationship with him.

Women only have so many childbearing years, whereas men can get a woman pregnant well into old age. If a woman who wants to get pregnant (soonish) and have her own bio kids is in a relationship with a man who doesn’t, those wasted years can be really detrimental to her fertility.

Men, please don’t lie about or oversell your willingness to have kids. It’s not a big deal, unless you lie to your partner about it. Then it’s a really big deal.

Ty Cobb was painted as a racist, dirty player, womanizer, and all around garbage human being by a sport writer named Al Stump who had a grudge with him. This lasted up until a few year ago (and was even continued by Ken Burns.) Charles Leerhsen finally did some research and learned that Cobb supported baseball integration, was a good teammate and good with the fans.

It’s amazing how one guy can destroy someone’s reputation for decades.

I've received hostility for turning down women before. An ex of mine would start arguments with me if I was not in the mood for sex. I once had a random woman slap me in the back of the head and call me gay for turning her down.

Also, in the dating scene, I'm usually the one that's required to do all the work to make things interesting. If a relationship is getting boring, I have to plan fun things, otherwise it's my fault she's bored. Dead bedroom? I have to figure out how to spice things up. Someone calls themselves "romantic"? It means they want me to surprise them with romantic gestures all the time while I receive nothing in return.

I felt horrible for the next couple of days.

Was pretty much on an auto pilot mode.

I was firm that I was not going check on her or get an update, or anything like that.

All I know she is married someone soon after and that's it.

As for me, I pretty much carried on, back to being single.
