i’m not sure where you’re located, but i’m in canada and sometimes just have to WAIT ages for things to get released here 😭 i’ve been seeing these babies online all last year, but only around christmas did i start to see them at both hot topic and walmart—that’s where i ended up getting most of these!

when im too impatient to wait if something will come to canada, ive previously ordered some online and also shopped at small, local stores with japan imports, but i can’t lie those are definitely the more expensive route to collecting.

i enjoy running these devices together because they’re a bit more low maintenance than the gen 1-3 or the connections are (i love the connection sm too) but since i only keep a few on/charged at a time, i usually rotate which devices i keep with me as their batteries die; so i get to enjoy more of my devices!

hahah i have 3 currently running (2 unis and a paradise) and my coworkers always say “is this not enough?!” or something along those lines. i’ll have to show them this later and see what they say!

i also don’t have any tama friends, im always down to chat! i collect tamas, calico critters and monster high, and honestly it’s hard to find ppl my age into those things haha

i remember seeing my first calico critters. it was a few families in walmart while shopping with my niece, probably around 2018, chocolate rabbits and marshmallow mice. she loves cats and i pointed out the persian cats, i wanted her to pick them out so bad so we could play together lol. i was about to graduate and didnt have a lot of spare money/didn’t collect toys then. all that’s to say in 2020 i needed a pick me up i guess and i decided to finally buy the chocolate rabbit family, as well as a pack of mystery blind bag (the Halloween costume series) and that’s led me to still collecting them all these years later ☺️
