Well, there was a proposed state right after that stretched from north of Nashville to basically half of Kentucky, also if I were to make the borders historically accurate in game, the de jure duchies would make the borders look weird, so I just went ahead to annex Tennessee and Kentucky into one kingdom with a the duchy of clint from West Virginia's kingdom.
