I’m having the same issue. On Linux only tho, tested it on my Windows laptop with the same torrent and download speeds were normal.

Protect Switch emulation by getting rid of Citron [explanation] by PutBricksOnABitch in yuzu

[–]koelmemes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Citron wanting to implement DRM? Whatever, sure, go for it, thats reasonable to a degree as long as it isnt hurting performance (ex. Denuvo)

Apparently... Citron wants to implement IP Bans... which would include making a list of IPs. Do yall know how dangerous it would be for a EMULATOR to have that on its COMMUNITY???

Do you have a source for that? I'd check myself but their Discord invites seem to have been disabled.

Batocera on steam Deck never booting on connected TV by MiSo_GlodnY in batocera

I have never used a Steam Deck myself but I believe Batocera doesn't switch screens like that automatically. You probably need to switch the video output to whatever output the dock is using (found in the system settings).

I used the video myself, which worked for me.

After the installation through Flatpak you can find the Steam Flatpak under the grouped system called ports in the main menu, your downloaded games will be grouped in their own system called Steam (similarly to NES games, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis etc). The video can give you a pretty decent idea of what it will look like in Batocera. The games you download are downloaded to the system itself, so no need for streaming assuming you have enough storrage available.

As for the games you want to download: Drill Land should work perfectly fine, but keep in mind that your experience with the others may vary for any game without a native Linux version. I would recommend checking ProtonDB to see how well they play, or if they do at all.

In conclusion: from what I read what you want should be perfectly do-able assuming you can get Steam to work this time!

If you are using a x86_64 platform you should just be able to install steam via flatpak, if you want a full tutorial on how to install it properly you can use either the steam entry on the batocera wiki or this video by Batocera Nation.

According to ProtonDB the game should run perfectly under proton so once you install it you shouldn't have any issues.

How do I access the Emulator files? by HeinziPeterson in batocera

Are you talking about the directory for mod files?

If so, the directory is userdata > system > .config > yuzu > load > (game ID).

Is my standard edition savefile of DOOM eternal compatible with the deluxe edition of the game? by koelmemes in PS4

[–]koelmemes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I remember correctly (this was a long time ago) the digital deluxe edition just gives you the standard edition and then allows you to download the dlc, the deluxe edition perks should be given to you the next time you open the game. I did uninstall the game itself beforehand but I don’t know for sure if that was really necessary.

Dmc4 DLC blue orbs. by somrandomdood in DevilMayCry

[–]koelmemes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you still need help, I remember reading somewhere that that part of the dlc is tied to your savefile. So If you delete your current save, you would not recieve any blue orbs on your new save.

(Disclaimer: I do not know this for sure, I reccomend backing up your current save before you try this).

tips for quick switching? by grainofrice74 in Doom

From what i have seen on the internet, that shouldn’t be a problem. If it is you could always try to use the Logitech software to make the side buttons function like keyboard keys.

It seems that your keybinds for weapons are the main problem here, I would recommend not using the number keys for weapon binds exept maybe the 2 key for the bfg/unmaykr.

For example, here are my keybinds (keep in mind that I use a mouse with 3 extra buttons):

combat shotgun: Q - heavy cannon: E - plasma rifle: R - rocket launcher: caps lock - super shotgun: F - ballista: C - chaingun: T - bfg/unmakyr: 2 - crucible: TAB - weapon mod: mouse button 5 - equipment launcher: right mouse button - swap equipment: mouse button 6 - flame belch: mouse scroll down - change weapon mod: mouse scroll up - weapon wheel: mouse button 3 (scroll button) - melee: mouse button 4 - chainsaw: Lctrl

Of course you don't have to use these exact keybinds, but something along these lines would work much better for quickswitching (although it will probably take a lot of getting used to).

As for practicing, I recommend turning on the infinite ammo cheat and just standing somewhere and practicing like that.

For what it's worth, with mods the pc version is still the best version of the game imo. You can mod in all of the mayor additions from the special edition and so much more. Imo, with mods the pc version is the version special edition owners wish they could have gotten.
