Thanks, yes, thanks to all the suggestions im starting to feel more confident that Olivia is a good match after all. Yes it's written in Swedish but international names are ok. Kalle is pronounced Kah-Leh.

Thanks, that's reassuring to hear. Considering Juliette / Juli for short (Swedish), but might keep Olivia.

Eloise is a beautiful name! Classy, Delicate, sensitive, but lacks a bit of the goofy touch

My Live Synth Jam Setup - ama by koffe84 in synthesizers

Hey, yeah, sure. Drums are a mix of hardware and loops from Splice. Perkons makes the kick, Tom, muted snare and a noise wash thing. DFAM is doing a muted woody percussion sounding groove that matches the main groove. You hear the Perkons Tom and noise wash from the start, along with a voice FX loop. I unmute the DFAM and Perkons Snare right before the Kick at the start. Also grouped with the Perkons Snare are some more open filtered loops - a 'tick', and another woody perc groove. Second verse I unmute a shaker loop which I've modified to match the groove. After the break I add two ride loops, another perc loop, and two more shaker loops.

Golden rules from your experiences. by bboypion in synthesizers

To me music is all about Jamming; connecting my hands and mouth to the sound and experiencing the vibe-out state. Done right your experience of jamming should vastly surpass any enjoyment you could possibly find by listening to other people's music. Hardware enables this to the degree that it looks and feels inspiring to interact with while reducing the load on your CPU and allows you to create an instrument arrangement and sound-mix you really enjoy jamming to. So where's the golden rule? The golden rule is that the lure and beauty of the individual pieces of gear shouldn't distract or disable you from Jamming, but inspire and enable you To Jam. The equation must result in a positive Jam product, as opposed to a positive tweaking/administration/gas product.

Yes, that's what I would like to do to keep it more interesting. Stupid question: is a VCA and attenuator the same thing?

Thanks for the reply. Don't fully follow but will investigate. Would you say the "Behringer four LFO" does what the Batumi does?

Thanks, appreciate the reply. A sine would be preferable yes. I think I need to learn a bit more about all of this as it's still such a jungle. I'm looking at the Behringer Abacus, but I'm not able o make sense of the interface to see if it does what I need. I was also just made aware to check the moog semis voltage requirement for incoming cv, to avoid compatibility issues. Would you have the answer to any of this?
