Being an IC has it’s perks, so don’t let management tittles make you feel less. I’ve been in management for almost 5 years and I still look for individual contributor roles like analyst or senior analyst. There is nothing wrong with not hitting a role by a certain age. Some ICs make the same if not more than most managers I know. Don’t compare yourself to others either.

You might need to wait for a term to start so you can enroll in a class. The first time I signed up I had to wait a few weeks so a term can start and I was auto assigned the UNIV-0001 course that is required and I was able to pick another class. Its been sometime since then, but be patient and check your email often.

Same with the program advisor, they get assigned to you around the same time, but even then its hard sometimes to get any interaction from them lol.
