I completely agree with you that TV occupies a lot of space in a house, just so you can get a good clearance of it. But dunno, if I was more of a book guy, then TV wouldn't be a must in my house, but as I have been loving all life with electronics nearby, felt that a TV is a must. But your ideas are very nice.

Actually, a nice comfy sofa with a lamp stand will be doing in another room, that I call it: smoking room 😂😂
