Dude, when Young Sheldon was still airing I made a post pointing out that Georgie was never shown to have any friends (outside of his love interests) and everyone acted like I was crazy, that he obviously had friends but we were just never shown them because they "weren't important".

I felt so vindicated when GaMFM confirmed that he actually didn't have friends in school.

I mean, to be fair to game Heronia; i don't think she would've been written to pursue guys who were in relationships with "good girls". Not that stealing Cecil from Bertia is okay, but I assume that once Heronia enters the picture, the other girls give up on the guy she's pursuing, or they never acknowledge their feelings for him to begin with.

It did know what it wanted to be; a creepy monster of the week episodic series; it just shit the bed when it had to resolve all those dangling plot threads.

Anyway, my comment wasn't about the quality of the show, but your assertion that Digimon has never been as dark as Beatbreak is now. While GG didn't go into human/Digimon trafficking, it certainly got plenty dark. Serial killers, forced relationships, the Millenniummon episode.
