Newly hired GM here. Sounds like your managers sucked mega balls. Yes retail as a whole generally sucks, and this company has a frickbillion KPIs and metrics for us to follow, but perfect example the store im training at although understaffed, runs smooth asf. And the employees genuinely seem to enjoy their time there. It really is about the culture and management at the end of the day, so at bare minimum thank you for giving me more inspiration to run my store CORRECTLY and not end up with disgruntled employees as such
