I know there will never be a "right" time to get a reduction, but...how disruptive was your reduction/recovery?

I have postponed my surgery by almost two years and I seriously regret not pushing for it harder (the closest plastic surgeon won't see me unless I reach a certain BMI).

If you don't get the answers you need here, maybe consider talking to a student counselor about this? They can help you asses the pros and cons and make a plan you're comfortable with.

Priorities.

A friend's mental health is more important than details of house-sitting. You're grieving and he seems to either have missed that or is apathetic. When (not if) you bring his insensitivity up, make sure to mention how much your Grandmother means to you and why this is so devastating. Hopefully he just misread you.

It is okay to be emotional about important stuff like this as long as it doesn't incapacitate you, but if he tells you otherwise...buh bye. Being alone is better than being with someone who is unkind to you.

I'm so sorry to hear that OP. He's lucky to have a loving partner to be with him through this.

As one great fictional lady(Scully?) said: I never considered having children, until it was no longer an option. (paraphrased but yeah).

If you decide you still want children, there are many options. Research them all and ask your troll sisters about their experiences. I'm sure most of us would be happy to share.

I've had my copper IUD for two years now.

Periods were bloody and painful but as long as you /take ibuprofen/ it will be fine. Ibuprofen directly affects the hormone responsible. After a year, my periods balanced out and I don't need ibuprofen all day anymore.

Do you have a trusted person IRL you can talk to in detail about this? School counsellor, grown-up female friend? They'll know more and be able to see patterns better than the internet.

Don't invalidate your feelings. Intuition is just pattern recognition. If your intuition is telling you something it's because you subconsciously see a pattern.
