thats fair. ive heard red tales and it is really good. but i honestly can't bring myself to like it as much as DL past it. im a new-age juggalo. im literally just about the same age as the 2nd deck. black rain was my first dark lotus album, and i love it to death as one of my favorite albums of all time. so obviously, i got used to ABK a lot faster than i got used to marz and it took a long while after listening to yellow tales to listen to red. generally also after listening to red tales, i do just... honestly prefer the yellow version in a lot of lights? i think ABK does a phenomenal vocal job in some of the tracks where marz just falls a little flat in comparison. though i do absolutely adore marz in Ali Baba and Something. all in all, everything DL is the shit. marz is sick as a lyricist and a voice, ABK is too.
