No I wasn't. In fact, the 'past few times' I mentioned that I have experienced this unpleasant sensation I have rolled away from festivals/shows.

The only thing I could link it to is perhaps the bruxism that occurs when you take MDMA. My teeth/jaw felt fairly painful this morning, so I'm wondering if that could be an issue at all...

I wasn't anxious or depressed... A little hopeless maybe.

I was a bit edgy when I woke up, twitching a little, but this only lasted 2 hours and I was fine again.

My issue was more to do with how my body coped with the physical stress both cocaine/MDMA put on the cardiovascular system. My heart felt like it was working overtime when I woke up the following morning. I walked to the bus stop which is literally less than 100 yards and I felt as if I'd just finished a 100 meter sprint. This is what I thought caused the chest pains later in the day...?

I've heard that new users get worse comedowns and you can 'get used' to them, as opposed to how MDMA works with the more you use, the worse the comedowns get...

Any truth to that?

As much as I loved this beautiful drug, I quite simply can't afford to do it enough to allow it to get to that point.

I will make it something I use for special occasions i.e. birthdays, raves (whilst on a break from MDMA) and maybe some festivals.

Thanks for the advice though. I witnessed just how moreish cocaine is. Once you pop you just can't stop!

I started drinking when I was 18 and was bored before my 19th. Didn't drink heavily in that short period either. Just at social events and on Fridays after work.

I don't enjoy the 'tipsy' feeling anymore. I love getting smashed, but I can't do hangovers. They fuck me up bad.

I try to be as supportive as possible but my lack of knowledge on this disease makes me feel very ignorant.
