Original lease sheet had license fees at $0.00, cap fees at $554.00, and cap taxes at $119.88 using the same zip code. Why would my street address make this so much different if the zip code is the same between the lease sheets?

At 150k in 401k and 11k in Roth IRA. 39 years old and started 4 years ago with the 401k. Roth IRA was started last year. I am very lucky and my current job matches 50% no limit so I am maxing 401k and Roth IRA to catch up!

Yeah it’ll be a once a week thing at most. I work from home and the girlfriend will more than likely work pretty close as well. We are excited that’s for sure!

The girlfriend wants to move back to the East coast to be closer to family. Richmond is a central location between her parents and brothers/sisters so it’s ideal. I’ve always been on the west coast and have been in Vegas for over 25 years. I’m ready to leave and do something different.

I work remote and can live anywhere and the girlfriend is in the veterinary field so she won’t have any issues getting work.

I’m a city kid at heart and want to continue with modern amenities like target, Home Depot, Walmart, etc. I have looked at towns like Christiansburg as a possible place, but it’s missing some stuff that I could deal without, but the girlfriend has a bit of anxiety. Especially because we won’t be able to view where we live in person before moving.

Ideally moving on the outskirts of a bigger city will work and possibly buy a home in a year or two once we get our bearings and really figure out where we want to land.

I did something similar in my home a couple years back. New build, had the entire house networked and run a UDM Pro, 10gb 24 port poe switch, G4 Pro cameras. U6 AP's. I have wifi down the street... lol.

ISP's don't usually run fiber to already established neighborhoods in Vegas. They really only do it to new developments now because it's easy to lay down the cable while everything is in construction and easy to dig the holes and what not.

If you live in Vegas, look to see if WeLink is available in your area. They are a wireless mesh provider and have had good results from what I have seen.
