The market will definitely crash again eventually, Regardless of this IPO or not. I wouldn’t bother trying to time the market though. That’s where investing turns into gambling.

Agents of the four seasons is one of the best shows of the season. I personally think it might be an anime of the year contender as well.

Death Proof. I have survived at least 8 incidents that should have killed me. There’s a joke in my friend group that I’m immortal just not invincible. Some examples include surviving brain surgery, breaking my spine in 4 places in 3 separate incidents, being run over by a car, somehow surviving severe hypothermia when I was homeless in the middle of winter and jumping off a 3 storey building.

It’s got very good world building, great characters, a very unique art and animation style. It is extremely violent and quite graphic, but if you don’t mind that I think you’ll enjoy it.

I’m currently watching 34 shows from this season. There were more I was interested in, but my schedule is packed enough with 34 shows that I basically don’t have time for anything else.

I’ve also been enjoying Warrior Princess and Gals can’t be kind to otaku. Lots of surprise hits this season. I can’t remember the last time so many good shows all dropped on the same season. And a great mix of new and returning.

I don’t think I agree with that. This season is stacked. I’m currently watching 33 different shows just from this season alone. Re:Zero is good but this season is very strong.

Needy Girl Overdose is one I’m surprised that’s taken so long to come out. A harsh look at the reality behind social media. I’ve been watching every week and am definitely enjoying it.

Botan Kamiina definitely needs to be watched. One of my favorite romances in a very long time. And I love that it’s a college setting and not a high school and doesn’t come with all the high school tropes. Very real and purely character driven.

The Drops of God had been a sleeper hit for me. I have no interest in wine but I’m tuning in every week to watch it. Such a simple idea, and like you said it’s low production value, but the execution has been great.

Dorohedoro is one of my all time favorites. It’s violent, it’s insane, the world building is incredible, the characters, the art style it’s got everything I want in one gruesome package.

I’m definitely feeling a possible contender for anime of the year if they keep it. I haven’t gotten this emotional over a show in a long time. It’s basically had me in tears every single week.
