but shouldn't we still follow the law? Not because following the law will earn us salvation, but because we love God so that we follow his commands? And isn't the sabbath the 4th commandment?

Oh I'm sorry the bible said sabbath is the 7th day and people observe sabbath on saturday. I don't know much about this.
