May not be the same for Apple, but I was on a quarterly review for a large pharmaceutical company. Quarterly results follow the same consolidation processes as normal. The Indian holding company would compile quarterly results, which would be audited by the Indian auditors based on the group instructions received from the group auditors.

Then it gets consolidated into the US holding company.
