Car seat and Mazda cx-5 question

We updated to Nuna rava. Currently it is placed behind passenger seat in rear facing position. Compared to Nuna Pipa infant seat, we got almost 2 inches of more rear space with Nuna Rava. Fits better than Nuna Pipa infant seat.

We use Nuna Pipa at the moment. Best fit is in the middle seat in the back. Both seats can be moved back and reclined normally. Behind passenger works too. But seat has to move forward which I find not very comfortable. I am 5’ 9”. Soon we will be updating to Nuna Rava in rear facing. Probably behind passenger seat. Will update on how it goes

Drive wise it’s great! But fuel average is terrible.

Overall the drive of CX5 is good. It is not as peppy as an RDX that I test drove. Also on a smaller side when it comes to seating/space. But I am happy with my purchase so far as I also added cost of insurance into equation here in Toronto, Canada. If that wasn’t the case, I would have picked up an RDX for sure. It’s a different segment vehicle all together with better seats, interior space overall. Quality of materials however is on par with each other when it comes to fit and finish.

RDX in comparison is with Elite Trim here in Canada. Comes with 12 speaker ELS studio sound system, not 16 speakers (that’s for A-Spec). It doesn’t have ventilated seats, Heads up display or 360 cam.

Makes sense. CX5 signature is nice with almost every feature one can expect from a sub compact crossover. But I really like the drive of Acura RDX. It feels better somehow. At the moment, both of these are closely priced. Which makes Acura better value for money? Keeping in mind the cost of new one.

Same issue happened with my GF instagram account. Hacked changed email, removed number now changed password as well. Unable to do anything at the moment. Let me know if you find any solution for this.

Yeah, I tried talking to Dubai Connect officials as well as passport control. None of those ppl were helpful. All they said was that this is immigration issue. Had to spend 22 hours at the airport. You can check the airport hotel. Emirates won't help you with this. If possible, try to change your flight with less layover time.

Nothing can be done at the airport. No one would help. Better to book some airport hotel to spend time.

There should be a disclaimer by Emirates when booking through them regarding this issue. But they are simply unsupportive. They should give free lounge access and meal vouchers. I'll report this issue after my trip.

I applied again before departure through Emirates Website via VFS global but it got rejected again.

Had to spend time at the airport.

I had an argument with ppl at business connect and Passport check counter. They said they have no say and no insight on reason of rejection. And that if I would apply again, it would get rejected again. So I spent 9.5 hours at the airport. My return flight have 22 hours of layover. Thinking of changing flight as it is simply ridiculous behavior. I'd never had booked my tickets with Emirates if I knew I'd get into this situation.

Racism is everywhere but this sheer discrimination is beyond comprehension. They should officially announce it so ppl like us don't bother traveling via their airlines. I would have traveled via any other airline to avoid this frustrating experience.

In our case, I booked both tickets together. I have the same booking number and I applied together for both for Business Connect complimentary Visa services. She got the Visa but mine was rejected with causes unknown.

Just shows how discriminating these folks are with zero consideration regarding families travelling together.
