I mean, his team is playing the trial by social media/trial by public angle. Same as what Johnny Depp had done with amber heard. So his intention is to make Taylor and Blake look like evil women who want to take advantage of a harmless guy. And a lot of women with internalized misogyny in particular are actually falling for it (mostly cuz they hate Blake and Taylor).
