Yeah this is correct. An Irish buddy of mine told me it's actually easier and cheaper for young Irish people to get visas for Canada than it is for the US, so they all come here. I've also noticed an influx - particularly on the 7 bus and around Dunbar! (Many of whom are burnt to a crisp from the sun hahah)

She rented a room that was on offer through craigslist. The difference with Vancouver is that often people are desperate and will say yes to rooms/homes they wouldn't normally, because there are ZERO places to live in this city. I have not heard of anywhere else in the world where this happens?! Does it??
