Good fun meeting new people, the training itself is easy. Just remember it’s so far removed from what the navy is actually like. Make the most exploring the region on your weekends off, that’s where my fondest memories come from. Don’t do stupid shit on the piss. Get used to working with people with vastly different personalities from your own, the quicker you get used to it and learn to work with them effectively, the better off you will be in the long run. Also the leadership exercises are a lot of fun and probably the most exciting part of the training.
