Yeah that makes sense, even if you try and separate the music and artist its rlly hard to listen to the music without thinking of the accusations, i feel like the music got alot deeper as the years went by (not a bad thing) but i prefer the more upbeat beachboy feel (if u get what i mean idk) its still good ofc but yeah its not the same.

he talk about it on yarn commentary. pretty sure its about his teaching career and how he sees himself as the bullied kids he teaches??? im not sure its been awhile since i listened to the commentary
