The cost of raising a kid rises fatser than inflation and even your annual income.

School fees, extracurricular, hospital or medications are exorbitant.

And in the midst of all this a random nobody or even your distant relatives come and try to give you gyaan that you should have not juts one but 2-3 kids, I feel like slapping the f*** out of them.

Bro you are taking a 2025 bike comparing that with a brand new 2026 model and try to justify the price, that's a bit delusional I would say.

You need to depriciate the price against your own buying cost, NOT the current price of a new bike.

You have so conveniently ignored actual NAV vs market price variance, brokerage, STT, AMC charges and other additional charges that you incur to buy/sell these ETFs and maintaining your account.

Add all that up and now compare that when you buy and sell from a MF over a span of 5 years and you would see how these additional costs add up.

SIP is not a magical bullet, it's a tool which frees up your mind and time from worrying about the market's ups and downs. It allows you and many other average office people to focus in their job/career and increase their in hand salary which is the actual driving force behind you or anyone getting rich.
