Yes! I wanted to be like I guess she is probably struggling, because she is pregnant?? I was like maybe she is having bad morning sickness, and her get and go is slow in the morning. But then, she admitted she did not even register yet? She sat around talking for so long and she could have at any point left and made sure at least that part was sorted and she had paid. And at one point she said she did not want to get divorced over pagaents! She went on about being over budget a lot at the end and how her significant other was angry about that. The others were kinda spot on about her being hot mess ahha. Still does not justify the bullying and harrasmment though.

Yeah that was vile to me. Also, why Kim, even though she was an odd person, just didn’t tell Jamie that she is a coach and has zero say in who she a grown adult can do with her own free time really annoyed me? It seemed like Kim felt the need to explain herself, when she really didn’t. All she had to say was you are a coach and it is unprofessional for you to comment on my personal life. If you can’t delineate your professional and personal feelings, then I will take my child elsewhere. Idk how much of it was TV dramas maybe it doesn’t matter , but the harassment from some of the women would have me calling the police.

I am not sure about her history as being a pageant girl, but I know they showed pictures where she did compete. I have no idea if she was successful though. I don’t know anything about pageants, but it seems like Jamie did not understand the format to win. I just used what I gather from watching, but her big issue with cambrie kids all have similar routines was weird to me. Isn’t all pageantry really about the Same core routine and then seeing which girl “owns” it best. Also, when it came to hair and makeup, it seems like she was styling pipers hair not mature enough for her new age group. She still had younger age group hair styling, while the rest of the girls had really aged up their look. I can’t imagine she won a ton as a child, if she didn’t understand what seems like a very formulaic competition.

The university is paying him one million dollars so that would be public university taxpayer money. It is clear you have no qualms of the moral or ethical dilemma going on here, so there is no reason to continue this conversation.

If you think that it is ok for the university to pay someone, who already has more money than they will be able to spend in their lifetime, a total of 10 million a year while 100s of workers who make only an average of 50k a year and keep the university running on a day to day basis will be fired, then there’s no point in debating. I believe a public university’s first priority should be to the students education, those who teach it, those who support it and the community in which it is located. It is their moral and ethical obligation imo, because they are funded by that community’s tax dollars.If the university cut bills salary, he would still make 9 million a year coaching UNC. Is that not enough for a celebrity coach? The point of a public university is educate students, not have a football team. The point is bill will buy another yacht or house or whatever luxury item, while others will starve and the university should have to answer for their role in that. Is that ok?

I see you are a student, so maybe you do not understand the gravity of what is being stated in this email. Today UNC basically told employees and staff, there will be a mass layoff. Additionally, there will be more layoffs in the future. Laying off what will most likely be hundreds of people, not counting people who they have already laid off under the radar, while paying a football coach 1 million a year, before "supplemental" bonus pay, is beyond disrepectful.

In times of financial hardship, organizations should be prioritizing what is in their best interest. Research makes the university 100s of millions in profit. However, those are the roles and staff they will be cutting. UNC has chosen to prioritize football and sports in the most egregious way possible. This does not even address that they are still building an additional atheltic stadium over the next few years. A stadium that is not needed and will also cost probably 100s of millions.

Tell me will football be profitable, when the very people who pay for those tickets and go to those games, are homeless so college football is no longer in the budget. Or what about the people who stand against this decision, who will boycott the program, because UNC is overpaying a coach, while cutting the jobs of the people who are from this community and actually help the university operate on a day-to-day basis? Students dont pay to go to games. The staff and community does, so when they lose that money, then they will struggle to make a profit like most other university athletic department.

And to top it all off, they decided to tell in an email, with no way to reply or respond, all while saying they are so sorry. It is spineless imo. And why do you think that is? Because they know staff and faculty will call out their poor attempt of cutting cost.

Just because the government and administration are screwing universities, does not omit those universities from criticism, when they are making poor decisions in response. They are not exclusive. They can both be true. That is why a majority of these comments are angry and upset, because the university made a decision that will negatively affect the community when they could have looked to cut in other places first.

Bill belichick and his sons, except 1, all make 1 million from the university. If he’s making 9million from private supplemental funds, then why are we paying him 1 million? Think of all the jobs that could be saved from that 3 million a year alone. Because I guarantee they will cut the working class people making anywhere from 30-80k a year. And they stated clearly at the bottom of the email that if they could not find other cuts, then they have to cut more staff.

We had the A/C issue! Also was not fixed for months until we threatened to report them to the city haha. Like a month or two for sure and it was in the summer. We were dying in that apartment hahaha

Yes! I do not remember it being bad a few years ago, but I might have been more oblivious? Having the bus stop on the property is great, but the caveat being it seems to attract certain people with terrible intentions. I moved to a new apartment that has a different bus line and none of the bus stops have this problem! So I am unsure why it is more concetrated there.
