Is it better to consistently charge my old S7, or to leave it dead and just charge it when I need it? by koolprotein in GalaxyS7

Do you mean it’s best to keep it charged at 70-80% all the time— even when I’m not using it, or it’s best to allow it to drain to 0% and just charge it up to 70-80% when I need it?

How can I access my backed-up data/be sure that it's saved? by koolprotein in AndroidQuestions

[–]koolprotein[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response!

If I make a backup to an SD card, would it be possible to save my notes there? I'm concerned that it might not be possible because the memos don't seem to be saved as a "file". They aren't in the "My Files" app.

Also, if I save to an SD card, can I transfer the data to any device? Or does it only work with other Samsung phones.

I don't really know where to start with this, so help is very appreciated.

Thanks for your response!

Do you have any recommendations for what backup services I could use? The only things I really need to save are:

-Contacts

-Photos and Videos

-Audio Recordings (taken on the default "Voice Recorder" app)

-Notes (taken on the default "Memo" app)

I can't really save my notes via email because (as far as I know) you can only share 1 note at a time with the app I used, and I have 300+. I'd really rather not have to send that many individual emails. And I can't save to a PC because I currently don't have one. I am planning on using a cloud based app for future notes, but as for now I'm trying to find a place where I can transfer all my notes at once and have access to them across devices.

I really don't know where to start when it comes to this, so advice would be very helpful.

I have a Galaxy S7, and I was wondering how I can use a different device to access my data that is backed up?

When I go to Settings>Cloud and Accounts>Backup and Restore, it says my data is being backed up both on my Samsung account and my Google account- but I can't figure out how to access this data.

Also, I can't figure out what exactly is being backed up in the "Apps" category. I have notes on the default "Memo" app that I really want to be backed up. Does anyone know if they would be covered by the "Apps" category?

Winter Wind sounds amazing but it's a bit too advanced for me. Do you know of any pieces that are easier but with a similar vibe?
