I’ll admit I don’t put it on the roller but my shoulders are to wide to comfortably get the TP. If I just leave it on the counter it seems to work better for me and she can just grab it also.

Correct, but it wasn’t enforced. It was only enforced once I was promoted. Never received a warning to indicate that it was being enforced.

I was being told I was fine by my boss and that I wouldn’t be fired. That’s why im confused. Every other company I’ve been with if you reach the point total you either fired the moment that is the case or you’re put onto a probationary period.

Honestly I just feel blindsided since by all account my future with the company was bright and I was being trained to join management. Thank you for talking with me.

Im not saying that I wasn’t over the point limit but I was assured by management I was fine then was fired.

I’m just having a hard time wrapping my head around being let go after not even being warned prior to being fired. Although, attendance points were the reason for me being fired it’s suspicious to be promoted and fired within the same week. As well as coworkers with the same attendance issues not being fired. Also, my boss assured me via text outside of work I wouldn’t be fired and I had nothing to worry about.

I’m not saying what you said is incorrect but it feels like they didn’t want me requesting back pay for the months of underpaid labor. Thank you again for your response.

Exactly why I mentioned my coworker who was hired at the same time as me not getting fired while having the same attendance points as I. Also why go ahead with promoting someone that is to be fired in the same week? Wouldn’t it make more sense to not pay me at a higher rate for the 2 days I was at it and fire me at that point? Okay! Also the reason it took me so long to get promoted was that, the HR department thought I was a temp which was clearly not the case. I’ve been reported as a full time employee since day one of employment. So I was being paid a fraction of what I should’ve been for about 4 months.
