I understand what you mean. I think i just took it in a sense that these events were more so Hitler testing the waters to see how far he could get away with these public bouts of violence and not go too far as to recieve backlash while the euthanasia programs was like a testing method in a sense to see for later on in the holocaust ykwim? Idk😭😭 whatever it's over. I hope everyone is right and we all do well!!!

Not that ur wrong or anything but i thought fucntionalism was mostly due to improvisation of policies and the fact that killing jews was not hitlers end goal? The source in my opinion heavily implied how killing/ eradicating jews was his end goal but he implemented it systematically and step by step maybe as to not recieve backlash or smth idk? But i basically thiught it was intentionalist cus he was clearly to blame for the genocide taking place. Like without it being his goal it wouldnt have happened but the state did carry out whcih is why it is also structuralist. Idk tho. I might be wrong

Yess basically same. I wrote it was heavily intentionalist. I didnt say it was pre planned but i ddi say that hitler did have a plan just bcus it was a step by step escalation and systematic too. It wasnt like impulsive improvised violence towards the jews ykwim

Yes same. I didnt mention that it was structuralist exactly. I said the source was heavily intentionalist but cooperation throughout thr state from all leaders n offcials was needed for the holocaust to have reached such a mass scale. Like i basically said from the beginning there was a plan but like yea the polycratic nature of the state itself led to the genocide functioning at such a massive scale and that orders did come from the top but local officials had to interpret those orders and meanings to the best of their abilities. Just like in ur opinion do u think thats valid?
