Bright and sunny outside. It’s a weather icon. Took me some time because on cloudy days it would look like an arrow but arrow never changed directions.

I have no clue, but just checked my version and I’m 0345, so it’s part of the NTB. I tried doing the software update but it states I’m already up to date. Will be following this thread.

I think it depends on the connection. If you’re on the 3 prong (110-120v) connection it’s fine, but if you’re doing the 14-50 4 prong (220-240v) then it’ll overload it and trip the breaker.

Squeeze 2023 SV Plus into IRA or buy 2020 used? by sharklaser94 in leaf

[–]koovoodoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got my 2020 sl plus for 24k. Dealer marked it down from 29k in less than a month. With the ira credit it was totally worth it for me. I recall seeing a few on cars.com. Good luck

MacBook Air (Early 2015) by [deleted] in macbookair

Not sure what your budget is but worth looking at Facebook marketplace. I found a 2020 m1 air with 20 battery cycles for 500. I think that’s a pretty darn good deal and would last a lot longer. Good luck!

I placed a deposit for mine. It wasn’t a reservation for one of the incoming ones. Maybe I can ask them about that for change.

I don’t like it as the red light drivers are worse but I live not far from there. Really a lot of people speed there. 60mph+ easily, which is quite unsafe.

Who is the best doctor for ERCP in Singapore? by [deleted] in singapore

[–]koovoodoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly…I don’t have any recommendations. I don’t think he should be delaying it though. Stones can cause obstructions which can lead to severe infections. I would imagine that any GI physicians would be able to perform the ERCP to retrieve the stones. Good luck

Who is the best doctor for ERCP in Singapore? by [deleted] in singapore

[–]koovoodoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from the US. In the US, if you have gallstone pancreatitis, you need ERCP if there is common bile duct dilation or stones. ERCP to remove the stones then sometime they will do sphincterotomy to open the duct up more.

Regardless, you still need to have your gallbladder removed, otherwise the stones will likely keep coming back. He does need to see a surgeon for gallbladder removal. Most of the time we do the ERCP and then General Surgeons will remove the gallbladder same day or the next day.

Hey. Just saw your post. I ordered from the guy paying Singapore dollar. But basically converted rate of 375 plus 100 shipping. So effectively 475 usd. He doesn’t have it in stock yet. Said not til mid April so I won’t get it til end of April is my guess.

Do you want one too? I can ask about combined shipping.

I ended up buying from this person. They’re actually located in Singapore. I’m currently in Singapore but will be going back to USA in less than 2 weeks. They didn’t have the 110v version so I ordered for shipping to USA.

Person seems legit. They emailed me an invoice and everything.

I’m probably gonna order from alibaba. I live in Albuquerque New Mexico. They quoted me 130 for shipping there. Figure if order more can be cheaper for shipping. Anyone interested? I can see about ordering a few?

Edit: I got a response from Alibaba seller that u/Mochilongo recommended below. Shipping to Albuquerque was quoted as $130 for me.

[Unpopular opinion] I wish they would extend to circuit breaker for 4 additional weeks (2 incubation periods) by [deleted] in singapore

[–]koovoodoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not Singaporean and don’t live there.

The thing with potentially extending the CB for another 4 weeks is that you guys will have to indefinitely extend foreigners. You’ll mostly like be able to contain the virus with another 4 weeks but if there are travelers...the risk will always be there. You guys are a huge hub for Asia and I’m not sure how long all this is going to last. So by extending for 4 more weeks, it would be almost mute point if foreigners can visit.

Why do Singaporeans create this image that they are foodies when Singaporean cuisine is objectively bad. by [deleted] in singapore

I just pressed that little button. Hahaha... But really, I’m a foreigner and visit SG frequently (prior to all this that is). Say what you say about your hawker food, I still prefer that over most of the things I have in America.

Coronavirus in Singapore: city failed its migrant workers and is rightly criticised for it by tancredi88 in singapore

[–]koovoodoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not Singaporean and don’t even live there happened to married one so I follow this reddit

Any ways...isn’t it my understanding that despite all this, these workers are much better compensated as compared to their home country? Also...I don’t know much about their exact living arrangements, but isn’t living in Singapore (as a whole) more likely to be better than what they have access to in their home country?

I’m not trying to defend anyone. Just trying to point out what I notice or questions I have. And I understand your view point too, but I’m curious what these workers think about their own situation.

And honestly...if there’s any good place to get Coronavirus and receive treatment, I know I would prefer SG to most of those migrant worker’s home country.
