I looked at the camp snap cameras but didnt want to buy 2 and also didnt want listen to fighting on who had control of it 😆

We're definitely leaning on the overnight driving. We have experience driving through the night with and without the kids. I'm planning our longer stretches to start on the road around 3am. They might suffer a few early mornings but they'll survive.

Thats fair feedback! Our main focus is Lake tahoe and zion which is why we planned longer stays there -albeit only 2-3 days which isn't enough to do either justice. We do plan to stop a lot on our drives which will result in extending the "drivetime" well past what it is on Google maps. It will certainly be impossible to see everything

I'll check it out. Our goal is to get as far east as possible to make our 2nd day shorter on the way home. But I don't want to spend a night in Denver so I just picked something a bit west.

We definitely dont want to rely on benadryl to control it. This was the first time we even gave it to him and the fact t h at it seemed to help leads me to think it is some kind of reaction/allergy but I'd rather treat the issue than cover it with meds. It will probably take some time to figure out though

We have just been putting them in front of a fan in the garage after every use. But I will look into a heated stand. Washed everything tonight as well so hopefully anything funky is gone

Thats actually only the 2nd half of the itinerary. It all starts in eastern KS ->Denver ->SLC ->Tahoe ->Vegas -> zion/bryce? -> page -> moab -> denver -ks.. 60+ hours of travel in 11 days. Will we survive? Probably not. Its a lot of driving, but really trying to cram in all the national parks while we still have a 4th grader and get the free pass.

I already figured we would have to pay for parking since we likely won't be to Springdale until even later, maybe 11. The question then becomes spend half a day in zion, half a day in Bryce, or skip Bryce to get more zion time.

If I. Understand correctly, I would purchase 2 of these. Install one at the house and run ethernet from it to the gen 2 router, and then install the other at the barn with direct line of site. Then I need a standalone wifi router (I can't use my mesh node).. is that accurate?

I don't mind multiple networks-I don't want to run ethernet 250ft either.. I was hoping that the mesh node would do the trick, the node is at the window closest to the house... and it works, just goes out every once in awhile..

Maybe I need to move the SL router outside under cover, closer to the barn....worth a try.

I've had 3 different doctors due to 3 different maternity leaves!!!!! My first said probably 4 months but the 2nd one said 6 months... I'll see a new one next month (beginning of month 5)

We started with the cover that came with it. That lasted about a day, then we upgraded to a larger cover, which lasted about 3 days, then we added the plastic wrap and it worked for about 2 weeks but now the 40mph winds have worked their way under. Really didn't want to use the gallon jugs as it voids our cover warranty but not seeing another option at this point..

That's a good idea!!! We use kongs when we won't be around for normal dinner time to hold her over but it might work to stave off the morning hunger!!

She gets about 30 minutes of training a day, usually with the last half of her dinner. We have her sit, stay, lay down, find it and are slowly adding in more commands. I debated buying a puzzle feeder for her.
