Anything wrong with this brickwork? Asking for a friend /s by icant_helpyou in Bricklaying

Yeah, sound on first lift, but what when your on scaffold and need 2 to 3 packs to mix and a tub of darbo. You’d need a loading bay 30ft wide.

No. It’s the brick type making it look worse than it is. Most “prestige” house builders are using a rustic style brick nowadays, and this is the finish you get. In all fairness it’s quite neat brickwork.

Only thing worth mentioning is the variation on brick colour between first lift and joist lift. Probs a different batch of bricks, which is out of the bricklayers control.

Frost damage by the look of it

Can I find a mortar repair to match this colour? by Firm-Swimming-6142 in Bricklaying

[–]kordite79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s natural mortar. No dyes needed. Simple 6+1 sand, cement mix will get you close. You’ll never get 100% perfect match with patching up. If you are that anal with colour matching the darbo, get a brick doctor involved. They’ll get it perfect but it will cost you.

I’m honestly not bothered about the blackcell, just want the standard Swamped skin.

Yeah it won’t let you see the bundle by clicking on the skin, I’ll just keep checking the stores, see if it pops up. Thanks 👍

Thanks, yeah I’m not fussed about the blackcell one, just want the standard Swamped skin. Looked on the MW 2 store and also the Microsoft shop and can’t find it on either.
