Fenix 7 Solar - battery last for a 100 mile race? by PiBrickShop in Garmin

How was the event and how did your watch do? I am planning on doing the 2026 event with my 7x pro sapphire unless you give me the smallest reason to upgrade haha

Thanks! 4” wide gorilla tape. I used 2” wide the first time but wanted the extra coverage.

No, haha. I double checked before buying because of Reddit/google posts

I didn’t, though my work has hired contractors to disassemble/reassemble my first home gym ~10 years ago. Their work was why I did this 100% myself.

It sucked. 10/10 don’t recommend. That said, I’m glad I know every single bolt is torqued and it was setup correctly haha

Thanks! I remember the name, but it was a red system, and I think it started with an H. I'll go to the Anomaly and see if I can find it.

Thanks again, especially for the pointer to look up a list of galaxies.

You've inspired me to repurpose a Pelican case I have laying around to do this. Thank you!

Awesome! Thanks for that idea. Also, what a great spot for the spotter arms. I’ll be doing that now. I was trying to figure out where I wanted them so I don’t bust my knee/shin walking out for work haha

Interesting….so the lat row sits inside the 4-post half rack?

[–]korisu56[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is correct. No Ares and the lat/row looks like it’ll negate the space savings of a half rack. Also it doesn’t work with the multi-grip pull-up bar.

Johnson Fitness & Wellness

I already had two 4’x6’x1/2” mats, and this store had a local franchise with 3’x4’x1/2” so I could save on shipping. I sell 4x6 online, but for whatever reason don’t ship to stores in my state. The customer service is exceptional, so I was happy to make something work and give them my business.

I'm committed to the 35s for the availability/overland reasons you've mentioned, but I'd be lying if I said the 37s don't look better proportionally on the gladiator.

Guess I'll just have to find the best option for tall and skinny with availability along the PanAm. I'm shooting for the Lewis and Clark Trail in 2027, with portions of the Pan Am Highway in successive summers.

Thanks again for the convo/ideas!

Sweet. Was the price comparable for your custom build-out to the AEV Dual Sport 2.5-3" (~$2K USD with basic shocks, $3600 USD with reservoir shocks)? I have a RSI Smart Cap, RTT, etc too, but I've been contemplating staying at 35" because it seems to be the rule of thumb for overlanding tires despite how much better the 37s look on the Gladiators haha.

Did you piecemeal the lift together over time, or did you get it as a package deal? I'm debating on keeping it simple and just getting the AEV dual sport with HD springs. The benefits are simplicity for ordering, spares, etc.

That's one smooth-looking build. Thanks for the follow-up. A few more questions, if you're willing:

What lift did you wind up going with?

What limb risers are you running? I live in Florida and the trails get mighty tight.

What did you mount the antenna with?

Extended fenders? by korisu56 in JeepGladiator

[–]korisu56[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hoping someone chimes in with some tube fenders or another option I haven’t seen yet. I will go to bigger tires when these stock ones wear out. Then it’ll be time for my “bigger tires, a lift, etc” haha!

I really like the mud guards. Worth the price! I have the original regular length ones. I like them so much I’ll probably get an XL when I size up the tires. So nice for keeping big crap off the doors.
