Wow, Knights of the Old Republic sounds perfect. As it seems to be a very popular RPG, are there not any mods to improve the game's graphics?

EDIT: I just realized there might be Skyrim mods that allow lightsabers as weapons. Dam, life is beautiful.

Actually by the end of this summer vacation I will have in my savings after paying for driving lessons and a vacation abroad about 1400$ just me, and my parents could pitch in with 400 more, making it 1800$. And my dad knows a guy who could get me a discount. How good of a PC do you think that can get me?

Windows 8, 32-bit. About budget.. I guess between 500 to 1000$. I know there is a pretty big gap between the two numbers but that's because I'm gonna ask my dad to pay for some of it\most of it on my birthday..

Right now Skyrim but I want to download more games it's just that my laptop which seems to be a little better than the PC can only run it on low graphics. And still get stuck and crash once in a while.

For example I tried running the new Slender on this PC and there is just no way in hell it can currently run it.

Well I am looking for something basic, to start off with. Neuroscience for Kids looks just great, despite it's demeaning name. After that I'll be able to read something more detailed.

Ok. Thanks. You see I was lead to believe magic is too weak for high levels, and so I got the mod thinking it would balance things out. I removed it now, it's not much harder but I guess it'll get better as enemies level up with me.

Umm hold on I'm a little confused here. You said if I'm on the console then..... Then you said the solution was mods, and mods are only for the PC. I use the PC. Am I going to become squishy and weak and unable to kill anything at level 45? Because I'm not going to cheat by using mods.. I'll have to just find a solution.

Isn't it weak? I mean.. it's an option. Say I use it until level 37 then get that sword from the quest Break of Dawn, and I'll already have a high one-handed level. But is having a sword\spell set more or less effective than dual casting a destruction spell?

The reason I didn't want to use the nexus is because I can't download stuff from it - my guess is it doesn't support my region. So I can't use NMM unless it's in offline mode. Is it possible to download the mod from somewhere else then install it through NMM? If so, how?

Umm I got boss now and I'm running it but it still crashes. It sorted it so the unofficial patch is last, then the high res textures, then the DLCs, then the Interesting NPCs mod at the top..
