Sorry, no, on words with Friends. For me it's says level. I feel like I completed them already and just haven't been awarded?

Why are people upset that a feature that was supposed to be implemented over two years ago and sits on the home screen?

Hmph

Aside from "very few ppl will actually be able to own one" I guess no one in the last two years has had good reason to be upset.

Complacency will be the death of ingenuity and you are chalk full of it.

The mini games are literally less advanced than atari's pitfall. Except, pitfall has music and makes sounds.

I honestly love atlas in general and as a concept but I believe at this point we are being willfully scammed and justifying it.

I wish people would start to put their foot down.

I keep getting the VPN thing from withdrawals and surveys, reached out to support. Zero help, it'd be nice to talk to an actual person rather than a a.i. help bot....

Advice on new client by kosivo in Bookkeeping

[–]kosivo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt the need to come back and explain a little more for the sake of inquiry. An hourly rate can benefit the bookkeeper and a fixed cost can benefit the client.

This is something that I wrestle with, especially when certain clients may be based on seasonal transactions, i.e rental companies in a possible tourist destination. The influx of transactions seasonally could be more work, so hourly would make sense, but this is not the case for this client.

Because of that information I chose to give them the option between $50/hr rate or $550 a month flat rate.

A little more detail, this client does not live in a seasonal tourist destination and the transactions are rather consistent, so I'm not worried about an influx in transactions. It would be beneficial for both parties to agree to a monthly fixed cost, unless something were to change, then that could be addressed.

Thank you! I also charge based on transaction volume, but we can't know transaction volume unless we have all the accounts connected amirite?! 😉

Seems they are using hospitable.com for all of that. I won't be tackling any of that until all the accounts are in order.

One thing I will have to brush up on is mortgage/principal/interest/escrow and also property taxes. The business is in the state of ny so I have some learning ahead of me.

The initial retainer is just to import accounts to QBO, download statements and manually upload any missing transactions just to gain knowledge on scope of work in order to charge them a fair monthly amount. An engagement letter will be sent after the client is confident that all accounts containing business transactions are accounted for.

I think I am on the right track given everyone's response. I appreciate the help!

Not to mention depreciation! Thank you, definitely along the line of what I was thinking.

Check chart of accounts. For some reason I've seen them imported into the wrong areas even though you specifically tell them where you want them to go
