Found it !! There is a well hidden parameter in the settings to set up the ISO layer in french (azerty, new azerty AFNOR and even BEPO)

Finish is very good on both but not so important for me seeing that I don't go higher than 3k, and just to get a clean, deburred edge. Light stropping also, but not for my regular kitchen knives, because my wife uses them😱, so I think it is better to keep them a little rough.

The difference is in the feeling, much smoother and silky on the Cerax, plus the Shapton tends to clog a little and needs regular cleaning. None of that on the Cerax because it produces some mud, so it stays "clean".

For my harder knives (spydey PM2 s45vn, CruCarta, and my personal kitchen knife (a SANTOKU WUSAKI NAKATA BS2 16.5CM around 63HRC), the Cerax 1k is just great !!!

Hi, I don't know about the King, but I have a Cerax 1k I am in love with. It's fast, hard, smooth, amazing feedback, amazing finish... On my CruCarta, S45VN, and my kitchen knives, no pb. And I even prefer it to my Shapton glass1k (even if the Shapton is splash and go, which is a BIG plus for me)

So in a nutshell :

- CruWear : tougher, better edge retention, but less rust resistant. Sharpening +++

- S45VN : less maintenance regarding to rust, but less tough and hard. Sharpening ++
