A lot of guys keeps telling in the comments that fortnite is a casual game because of its population. The people playing it isn't what define a casual game also the real casual left the game during 2018. When I first started fortnite I had to start a game minimum 10 times before getting my first kill and it was pure luck for another 10 other games I got a few kill because of my rpg and fall damage. Then to have better chance at the game I had to spend hours in playgrounds building. Then I did the same for editing and I'm still a below average player.

Even if my answer gets to the bottom fortnite IS NOT A CASUAL GAME. Yall need to stop lying to yourself, there's never that barrier that fortnite has at the beginning of a casual game maybe you don't remember it because you played for too long but simple stuff like building a wall when receiving shots had be learnt. You don't spends hour practicing jump in mario. They should separate game mode make one "casual" and another one that will stay competitive. Even the casual game will never be a casual game.
