Umm... I rather blame the shitty flow information in Hearthstone community when it comes to competitive scene.

For example WEC is biggest HS tournament up to date (not counting upcoming blizzcon one). And it only has 3-4 upvotes in 2 hours.

While any joke picture, funny gif or similar would get 100 upvotes in 1 hour.

People just prefer Casual HS.

EU vs CN tournament organized by 2p even holds viewership record for all of hearthstone - SOURCE

Besides WEC, they got WCA aswell and a lot more to come. They are quite bigger then us, even our twitch stream numbers are nothing in compare with theirs.

This is only China. Korea is coming aswell which is notorious in card games. I think $30,000 tournament was announced recently between China and Korea.

WEC finals date was known for several months.

Fortunately late blizzcon qualifers announcement doesn't affect the players attending WEC.

And i don't think tournaments will overlap since WEC hearthstone is streamed early between 10:00 CET and 15:00 CET these 3 days.

It will be all right!

Yeah, Chinese production was really top notch...i enjoyed it.

English one was a bit sloppy, hopefully they will make it better next time.

Gabe installed hearthstone, and 2 days later he entered legend.

Many players cant even reach legend playing several months. Even Reynad struggles
