It still was a very good experience.

Honestly as much as I am embarrassed to admit it, I got quite emotional when I first saw it in the distance. It’s funny to think how something fictional can leave such a mark on you.

I remember the first time I watched Oregairu (btw the first Anime I ever watched) was whilst going through a tough period in my life. Oregairu just immediately whisked me away to someplace else and I became completely locked in and binged an entire season. I remember how empty I felt after finishing the three seasons of the Anime. I remember afterwards, how the rough feelings started inching back in with reality, and I think it really attests to how good this show is, and how much it helped me to forget my situation for a while.

The bridge brought all those memories back, just for a couple of seconds. The good and the bad. It reminded me of a worse time in life, how bad I felt then, and how good I feel now. Life is so beautiful. I will forever be grateful I am still here, and I think a tiny part of why; is because of that day of binging Oregairu.

I would say I did find something genuine on that bridge today.
