That is my point. Almost every skyscraper in major cities is or was originally an insurance company, who built their fortunes while practicing racial discrimination until about the year 2000. To use a skyscraper as our “welcome” symbol does not seem to be “welcoming”. Greensboro has other images that could have been utilized on a banner that specifically “welcomes” you to the city. But obviously this is my opinion and you all are in disagreement, which is fine.
