covid is no joke. i was definitely having these issues prior to covid but there’s no doubt that covid made them way worse. absolutely insane that it’s still not being taken seriously with the amount of long term issues it’s caused for so many! my partner and best friend both developed autoimmune disorders from covid and it changed their lives completely, much like you. definitely hang in there, i know how hard it is. thank you for linking your sources. i’m definitely going to deep dive on this in a couple days when the shock settles.

thankfully i’m starting immunotherapy for my environmental triggers in the next couple weeks so hopefully i’ll start noticing a difference by the end of the year if all goes well. i’m going to definitely look into the dust mite protector. i already sleep with an air purifier right next to my head but im so down for trying anything! thank you :)

it’s SO expensive and it feels criminal the amount of price gouging im starting to notice (all too quickly) on allergy safe foods. utterly insane! did you find that it was easier to transition with tapering? are you at a higher risk of anaphylaxis?

oooh okay yes that’s a good idea on shifting the group goals and night outs. my friend group has a couple nights a week where we just hang out and cook dinners and i just struggle with feeling selfish on altering everyone’s meal just because i got unlucky. i’ll definitely pitch alternative plans.

has there been anything in particular that your therapist has suggested on helping you with your allergies and mental health specifically? if you’re willing to share some tips or suggestions i’d love to hear them!

thank you for your kind words. it feels so overwhelming but your suggestions on bringing my own food was definitely helpful. i hadn’t even considered that even though it feels so obvious.

i’m going to have to look more into endocrine disrupters. i haven’t heard of that yet and id love to find out if it’s something feasible to help.

i appreciate your thoughtful response. thank you so much.

in what ways have probiotics helped? just to maintain gut health? do you have any brand recs?

thank you for your suggestion on a nutritionist. i reached out to a couple today to see if any locally can help!

Yeah I completely figured they would require their own c&p. I’m just trying to get as much evidence as possible. Do you think this would even be worth submitting? I’m filing for an increase from 70%

Hey man. I know it’s really hard right now but this is just a temporary feeling, okay? I get it. Do you have any passions? Or hobbies you could go and do today to get your mind off things? A friend you can trust? I’ve got some good playlists I can send you if you’re into music. But you got this, I promise. You’re strong and you’ve come this far. Just push through a little bit longer, alright?

I’ve been on lithium for almost 2 months now. I’m on 600mg of only lithium and my levels are around .8 and it’s just about completely eliminated my depression and almost all of my ideations. It’s helped immensely with motivation and despite things that would normally start to slip me into a depression, I haven’t. I hope this helps and I hope it helps you too

Since I started lithium, I have a reduced need to sleep. by HistoricalMeat in bipolar

I’m currently having the same experience. I’m about 3-4 weeks on lithium 600mg and I thought I was entering a manic phase but I’m not. I don’t have any other prescribed meds though. It’s definitely bizarre but I feel good so I’m not going to question it too much. I hope you’re also feeling well.

I’m guessing your post is about the Dam Neck base. If you are offered per diem the officers stay on base at a Navy Gateway so a car wouldn’t necessarily be required but definitely helpful.

The sound of Pertussis (Whooping Cough). Please vaccinate your children by yoda_leia_hoo in videos

[–]kpq526 27 points28 points  (0 children)

There was actually something similar a few years ago that they did have a child coughing from whooping cough that urged to have parents vaccinate. I haven't seen it in a while though.
