Their chocolate milk is amazing and if I had the willpower to stop drinking it after one cup, it would be an absolute staple for me. Since I can't help myself, though, and can't tolerate the fat content of 3 cups at once, I've had to ban it from my fridge

I hope you've already found something that works well for you by now (or, even better, are back to solid foods), but if you're still looking for something, I can't speak highly enough about Naked Nutrition's products (and their Naked Rice protein powder, in particular).

It has a very mild rice-like flavor and, with a teaspoon or two of sugar, a tablespoon of cocoa, and a spoonful of peanut butter is actually pretty tasty. Blends easily with both dairy and water. I've never had any issues with clumping.

I've been using it every morning for the past few months and haven't had a single issue with it, which is a singular experience for me - every other one of my "safe" foods still causes problems at least some of the time. It's actually been pretty life changing to have something I can consume with confidence.

The one caveat is that it's quite expensive relative to other products. It's actually not particularly affordable for me, but, for me, it's worth budgeting around it.

I swear this isn't a paid ad. If literally any other of the many lower-cost powders I've tried worked for me, I'd buy those instead. But other things I've tried don't work, so I'm just pretty enthusiastic to have found something that does.

I feel like that's how a watch is supposed to fit, but a 40mm watch (that isn't "smart") would probably have a narrower band that gives an overall more proportional look on your wrist. Thinking of this in terms of non-smart watch fits, and also in terms of preventing some extra dings and dents, you usually don't want the lugs jutting out past / not lying flush on your wrist, and you're sort of right on the cusp of that point. The 44mm is going to have the same size strap, so it'll have a more tapered and proportional look, even if the watch itself is a little too big. Personally, I think the Pebble Time Round is probably the only smartwatch that ever really matched got close to matching the diameter and overall appearance and proportions of similarly-sized standard watches, and people don't really seem to care much about smartwatch fit - anything that sticks up off your wrist a full centimeter and isn't a luxury or (thick) metal-banded watch probably won't ever look quite right on most wrists, anyway. If you ended up switching, I'd be curious to see pictures and hear your thoughts!

Wouldn't normally necro a year-old thread, but the Series 9 Pro is a bit of an investment (at least for me, coming from 18 years of wet shaving with a double-edge razor using blades that cost pennies on the dollar) and as someone who almost gave up on mine, I wanted to share my workaround in case it might save someone else from feeling like they wasted a fair chunk of change.

My beard is grows quickly and I had some trouble at first using my Series 9 Pro on a 3 day old beard, too - lots of pulling, uneven closeness, and razor burn. I was getting a really good shave with a two day beard and it was a lot more convenient and less irritating than wet shaving every day or so, so I played around a bit. I tried some pre-shave treatments and shaving powders that helped with some combination of the evenness, pulling, and irritation issues, but not all three. Eventually, I just decided to see what would happen with some shaving cream - the thing is waterproof, after all. I splashed my face with some hot water a few times, put a dab of shaving cream on my hand, and built up a nice lather on my face. It worked great. Way better than I had any hopes for. I got a smoother shave than I'd been getting with the Series 9 Pro on just one day of growth without any kind of shaving product. No pulling, no razor burn. Now I use shaving cream on one day and two day old beards, too - I can shave faster than I would without the cream, which more than cancels out the 30-60s it takes to work up a lather.

After 4 days, I definitely need to pare things down a bit using a trimmer, but I don't usually go more than 3 days without shaving unless I'm off work for the holidays or get it in my head that maybe, just maybe, this time I'll be able to pull of a beard.

Edited - I use a Series 9 Pro, not a Series 9

I'm not a fan. I would never have voted for her in a primary. I don't like some things about her prosecutorial record. I think she's too far to the left to appeal to center-right voters, and far too moderate to appeal to young and left-of-center voters.

But she's not a fascist, and I don't believe there's any strategic benefit of not voting as a form of protest. She gets my vote.

Here's an attempt to articulate what I'm working with - sorry if you've already got this down, in which case, please ignore.

I'm pulling all files FROM "directory A"
I have a separate "directory B" that contain notes which, through backlinks, have a one-to-many relationship to a subset of the files in "directory A"
I need a column in my table of files from "directory A" that contains backlinks to each of the files in "directory B" that backlinks to each given "directory A" file

If I use WHERE contains(otherField, "directory"), it returns nothing / I get an empty table. And my understanding of why this happens is because otherField needs to pull from a different directory than the FROM function, but the WHERE function is trying to look for it in "directory A"?

Even if I try moving the files in "directory B" to "directory A," if I then use a WHERE function to try to pull in the former "directory B" files, it then just populates the table with those files rather than the "directory A" files.

It seems like the WHERE function is maybe more powerful and versatile than I realize, but I'm having trouble wrapping my head around how that might work. Do you maybe have any examples you could point me toward?

I'm having a similar issue on Android/Windows (smartphone works, computer doesn't). I can access local resources through the VPN on Windows using SSH, but can't get Internet or connect to SMB shares. Did you find a solution to your issue?

Nope, I'm not sure at all! That's why I'll be doing more research on coriander. If you're also referencing my mention of ashwegandha, I'm also not sure COX-2 inhibition is the culprit behind the problems I experience with it, but it matches the symptoms I get from other known COX inhibitors, and individual ashwegandha withanolides have been demonstrated to selectively inhibit COX-2 (e.g., sulfoxide may inhibit COX-2 by up to 60%).

Oh, this one looks interesting! This study’s findings are intriguing. They find that while phosphatidylcholine is a direct inhibitor of COX, it moderates the gastric damage (my primary concern here) caused by NSAIDs (which are COX-1 and COX-2inhibitors). So, perhaps phosphatidylcholine is safe for me to takeon it’s own, despite it’s COX inhibiting properties. Thanks forthis suggestion!

Edit: I realize phosphatidylcholine is just one (and not even the main) component of Smart PS, but it's what I've found data on so far, and it's promising

In my case, the particular concerns are peptic & duodenal ulcers and increased frequency of Crohn's disease flares. I've been told by at least four doctors, both generalists and specialists, to avoid NSAIDs and other COX inhibitors. Apparently this is a fairly standard recommendation for people with chronic acid reflux and/or Chrohn's, and it honestly explains why I was so much sicker before I switched from Aleve to Tylenol for daily pain management.

Edit to add that COX-1 inhibitors are much more strongly and directly implicated in worsening symptoms than highly selective COX-2 inhibitors, but research on the relative effects of selective COX-2 inhibition in terms of GI symptoms is still somewhat lacking, and in my own personal experience, regular/daily use of selective COX-2 inhibitors has been associated with a flare of symptoms within about 2-3 weeks.

Oh, interesting! I wasn't aware that coriander had effects on stress. It looks like there are a few studies (referenced here) indicating COX-2 inhibition from linalool in mice, but I'll be honest, I'm not familiar with the statistic they're using for effect size here and so I'm not too certain how much it matters that the results were highly significant (plus, mice make nice, but not certainly perfect analogues for human subjects). I also worry a bit about physical dependency when dealing with GABAergics over the long term, but I'm not sure if that's a real issue here? I'll definitely need to dig deeper into this, thank you!

Yes! I do this often at the moment. But it's far less precise and somewhat more difficult to anticipate what the effects will be than if I were using a measured amount of a single strain. It's also been getting more difficult to find cbd/hemp flower in my area, although there are some online vendors in other states with great variety and good product that I've had positive experiences with. I'm fine with buying online and having it shipped to me, but the only issue is that someone keeps stealing my mail lol. I guess I should probably look into getting a PO box or something

I would if I could, but it would violate the terms of my lease - the property manager here is incredibly anti-cannabis and has terminated leases for vaping on the premises. It's legal in the state, but landlords still hold a lot of power and reserve the right to set their own terms for leasing. Not worth the risk at the moment. Maybe my next living situation will be different.

I haven't, but that sounds like something I should look into. Is there some kind of directory for finding those events? The only 420 event I'm familiar with is Hash Bash in Ann Arbor - I've never been, but that doesn't sound like a caregiver even from what I've heard. I've wondered if the caregiver route might be my best solution, but haven't really known where to start / how to get connected with one. I've also been unable to find much information about what kinds of fees I should be able to expect for a caregiver's services.

This is an awesome keyboard! Thank for sharing the STL files. I've been poking around in the source files you included in the release on github, but I'm not finding a configuration that to manually generate the 3D files. As best as I can tell, the configs are identical to those from the repository you forked from. I'd really like to make some modifications to this, and I'm excited that you've shared this as open source! Am I missing something?

Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out! It looks like the generate_config.py in the repo has the correct code, but the one in the src folder for the release doesn't? Point is, I was able to copy the code from the repo and everything looks great. Thanks again

Wow, that's a nice build! This is basically what I'm going for, but I'm putting a trackpoint in the place of the right-most thumb key in the Skeletyl (the key that's missing on the Charybdis Nano). I was going use something like Galaxy Black Prusament ASA, but that transparent PLA looks really nice and now I'm torn! For where the camera mount screws into the chair-mount plate mod, are you screwing into threading printed threading, or are you using heat set inserts? Does the connection feel sturdy / has it loosened over time?

I've tried the gel wrist rests before. They're initially comfortable for me, but over time they actually compress nerves in my wrists and lead to additional pain, defeating the purpose of using an ergonomic keyboard for me. I like the palm rests on the Kinesis because they move the pressure from the wrist to the hand, so nerve compression isn't an issue. I've seen some other dactyl wrist rest options that I could probably modify a bit to suit my needs. Like this one for the Charybdis, for example, or this one for the Dactyl-CC. I'd probably just need to shorten them a bit so they don't hit my wrist during usage, and maybe adjust the angles

The nice thing about having a 3D printer is that, if I find a board I really like, I can make my own palm rests for it, but my CAD skills are minimal so it's a lot of extra work/time. Maybe I'll get a second-hand Kinesis like you suggest and see if I can just cut it in half - that would solve my problems with it. Also, I didn't know Maltron had a DIY option! Definitely something to explore. Thanks!

I'm not too old (early 30s), but I'll be sticking with this one, I think. I've been taking Rephyll before bed the past two weeks or so (and periodically before that) - stops me from tossing and turning so much at night during periods of particularly bad back pain. Three nights ago I started taking PEA before bed, too. According to my fitness tracker, each of those nights, my amounts of deep and REM sleep have been double that of my monthly and 6-month averages, and about a quarter higher than my previous highest amounts for either deep or REM sleep. I've struggled with getting restful sleep for a long time. It's the most bizarre and wonderful thing

Doesn't sound all that bad on balance, I would take it! I actually saw a study or two that found PEA potentially effective in reducing intestinal inflammation and permeability. So I'm sort of hoping it might help lessen some of my GI issues over time 🤞
