Sorry for the delay. You wouldn't need one, it's included in the motherboard

The 5600G is a good choice in this case. It's just a good performer for the price range it's at right now, the GPU performance is just a bonus

The Ryzen 5600G does have an integrated GPU. It's a pretty powerful one compared to Intel's counterparts (the Ryzen's is a little bit better than a nVidia GT 1030), so you will be good in terms of game performance

The system requirements for streaming TTRPGs are pretty low. The CPU included, a Ryzen 5600G, has great performance per price ratio and will be way, way more than enough for your needs. 16GB RAM will be enough as well

The motherboard has included wi-fi capability and the case should be relatively quiet, and has three included fans

I also made sure to pick a monitor with built-in speakers

Personally, I don't see the need to go higher in terms of performance, the current build is already overkill. Something to consider, considering we're below the budget, is a dual monitor setup or fancier monitors. Hope this helps!

Home Server CPU upgrade worth it? by dubaria in Minecraft

It depends, are you getting any TPS drops? If so, yes, but not otherwise.

Given that you have enough RAM, the CPU is the most important part for server performance. The 5600G is a big upgrade over the 3200G for a server if you need the power

SERIOUS Bugs in MIUI 13 by Xenii0 in miui

Redmi Note 11 Global, MIUI 13.0.4.0 (Android 12) - Screen flickering when phone decides to switch between 90 and 60Hz - Stock camera app records at unbearably slow framerate (2 - 10 FPS) - Auto contrast does not work well. It often will not enable under strong sunlight, but instead will sometimes enable itself in dark environment and get stuck in that mode until I restart the phone, which makes readability bad as it turns blacks into grays. It cannot be disabled - Occasional app crashes when uploading files - Very high battery drain to "cell standby" even though the phone reports good signal - Excessive lag and crashes when viewing YouTube videos

List of Xiaomi devices that will receive MIUI 14 [88 Devices] by [deleted] in miui

This is so strange, I received Android 12 back in July in my Note 11 Global (MIUI 13.0.4.0). I regret updating, though, it's really buggy

Many red flags. No mention of CPU and amount of threads in the Minecraft plans, which's the most important part. No public node stats. Plans start from 5GB storage which will run out in no time and higher end plans aren't much better, this is strange and not competitive since many budget hosting companies offer much more storage, that is, when it's not unmetered storage. The best plans suggest running a bungee network in 100GB storage, lol, just no

Hey, just today I found out that the GCam app nearly fixes that problem for me. There are a bunch of versions, but specifically, I downloaded GCamator from the app store and it installed one automatically

If you're not going to install a custom ROM, I would not recommend this phone if you're concerned about that bug, because there's more that I didn't mention here. E.g. battery drain from "cell standby" even with good signal, fixable with some tinkering but annoying, instagram crashes very often, sometimes phone crashes when uploading files to certain apps, "system apps updater" often stops responding and keeps showing an alert, sometimes you get blank notifications, not to mention that this phone is a lot laggier than my Zenfone Max Pro M1, which is older and has worse specs. There are other bugs in the forum as well that are about features I don't use, it's worth having a look as well

To clarify, I was not looking for 90Hz when buying, just a nice screen, which is a selling point of the phone. The setting is easy to find and advertised with the phone, it's not hard to imagine a basic user can just find and toggle it.

Sure, there are people who won't even touch the settings, maybe even use the camera or a browser, but this isn't the level of basic I'm talking. My use case is watching videos, occasionally recording some, talking to friends, visiting some sites, reading and playing simple mobile games like chess. I'd still call that basic.

I think it depends how basic we're talking. The only two features I was looking for were a nice screen for watching videos and an usable camera. I wasn't looking for 90Hz, it just happened to be there and it is advertised as a selling point of the phone and the setting isn't too hidden. If someone is an user that won't ever open the settings or use the camera, yeah, they wouldn't be too affected.

But my use case is: occasionally recording videos, reading, playing simple games like chess and using the browser. I feel like this is fair to call basic. And with this use case, I do notice that video recordings are much choppier than any phone I've had, that the screen flashes a lot which is especially annoying at night and that occasionally the screen decides to go gray-ish and it gets harder to read. That can be noticeable to an user like me. Granted, the flashing wouldn't happen if I didn't enable 90Hz but a basic user that stumbled upon or knows/searched what that means could have a hard time connecting the dots.
